Terms of Service

Effective July 6, 2026

These terms govern your use of EgoCogito.ai (the “Service”), a writing space with an AI thinking partner. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

1. The Service

The Service helps you develop your own thinking through writing. AI features are assistive: they respond to what you write, and their output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for how you use anything produced in the Service.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Your content

Everything you write remains yours. You grant us only the license needed to operate the Service: storing your content, syncing it across your devices, and sending it to our AI providers to power the features you invoke. We claim no other rights to it.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t use the Service to violate the law, infringe others’ rights, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service, or resell it without our permission. Automated scraping of the Service is not allowed.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe, monthly or annually, at the prices shown at purchase. Plans renew automatically until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Usage limits attached to a plan reset monthly. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

6. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes. We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
